Students from ARCH 430 Design class have constructed a SuperStructure model based on an expanded Empire State Plaza site in downtown Albany, NY. Stop by during the month of March and April to view this amazing project. Thanks to Professor Hans Herrmann and the students for sharing their work with us. -Pam
Students and their projects:
Allen A. Decker (tower that looks like the top of a pineapple)
Marshall E. Morehouse (center model orange and red twisted)
Ryan P. Cole (burnt red with roads and 3 buildings)
During the first three weeks of the spring semester, students in Architectural Design II (ARCH240) were asked to design an Architecture Reading Room for the upper level of the Resnick Library. The exercise resulted in some innovative concepts, including a rotating wall of shelves and an ‘outdoor’ cafe within the library.
Currently featured are designs by students David Carr, Richard DeLuca, Robert Dillon, Nils Fredriksen, Jason Powell, and Kevin Selby.
Thanks to Michele Herrmann and her class for sharing these designs with the campus.
Stop by during the month of March to check ’em out! -Pam
