Requesting ILL Materials Stop Date

Attention Students:
The library asks that you not request Interlibrary Loan (ILL) materials via ILLiad on or after Monday, December 7th.   The reason is due to the improbability that the materials will arrive in time for you to use them before the December 11th due date imposed on all library materials.  Thank you for using ILLiad, and we look forward to serving you in the Spring.

New Content in Business Source Complete

“We are pleased to announce that Business Source Complete now includes a business video collection with 55 videos from the Harvard Business School Faculty Seminar Series, at no additional charge.

The series features engaging video lectures from renowned professors and experts at the Harvard Business School . All lectures are captured from executive education programs, and offer groundbreaking ideas, insightful research, and practical advice on management issues.”

New Trial Database: Credo Reference

From now until the end of November, the Credo Reference database will be on trial. It is designed to be a great place to start looking for information, and it enables a user to connect quickly to different databases to find further information on a topic. For example, if you find a great biography on an artist, you can then click on the link for the Resnick Library Catalog, and it will search for your artist to see if there are any books in the library about that artist. Pretty cool, huh? Check it out, and give us feedback on whether or not this new database is useful to you.

Through the month of November, view a creative display of  dining table place cards  produced by the Fall 2009 “Wine, Life & Society” class, Gennaro R. Pellegrino, Instructor.

Dress up your table for the holidays or any occasion with the addition of place cards.

Using champagne cork baskets as the base, students fashioned place cards using only foil and paint.

Elegant or casual in style, expensive or not, place cards are sure to enliven your table, enhancing the first impression of a positive dining experience to come.
