On Friday, November 12, the library celebrated the dedication of the Wickham Information Commons. The generosity and support of Richard and Marilyn Wickham has made possible recent library renovations, including the addition of computers and other technology on the main floor of the library. The dedication ceremony included a video of student testimonials, played on the flat screen presentation cart recently purchased for the Information Commons. Many thanks to those who attended the event and those who made the project possible, including CIS, Facilities, and library staff.
If you are searching Google Scholar from an on-campus computer, you can now see links to get full-text content through Resnick Library. Next to each result will be a link that says “Find Full Text at Delhi.” Clicking on that link will take you to the full text if the library has it, or it will provide you with inter-library loan options if we do not.
If you wish to use this feature from off-campus, please be sure to access Google Scholar from this link or from the library’s A-Z list of databases to ensure that the full-text links appear. If you have any questions, please contact the library at x4635 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Happy searching!
Resnick Library is pleased to announce that it now has access to two databases of fundraising information: FoundationSearch and BIG Online. Both include tools to locate grants and foundations, which can be searched by geographic location, asset range, giving interests, and other options. Users can view an organization’s granting history, as well as its IRS documentation and news stories about grants and their recipients. Access to these databases is restricted to one user at a time. To search them, please contact the library at 607-746-4635 or email@example.com to make an appointment.
