Can you name this John Doe?

There’s a new face at Resnick Library… a very bony one.

Amanda with skeleton
Amanda welcomes the newcomer

This skeleton will soon be available for anatomy students to practice identifying the bones of the human body. There will also be a disarticulated skeleton for practice identifying individual bones.

But for now, this skeleton needs a name. We’d like to hear your ideas for what he should be called– the more creative, the better! Send your suggestions to We’ll announce the winner on February 7.

If you need inspiration and would like to meet him in the flesh (or lack thereof), stop by the library front desk during the next two weeks.
