The skeletons are nameless no more

We are pleased to announce the names of our two skeletons:

Vincent (Alice Cooper’s real name, and for horror movie actor Vincent Price),

and Indiana Bones.

Congratulations to Sarah Carr, who suggested the name Indiana Bones. “Vincent” was submitted anonymously.

Honorable mentions go to Kim Kelly and Kellie Goodspeed, for “Os Dominus” (Latin for “Bone Master”) and Tiffany Julien, for “Napoleon Bonaparte.”

Thanks to everyone who submitted names. The library staff had 59 excellent suggestions to choose from!

The skeletons should be ready to be checked out for use in the library sometime next week. Please ask at the front desk if you’d like to borrow one to practice identifying the bones of the human body.
