Get It Now service suspended

This spring, we introduced a new service called Get it Now that allows the library to purchase full-text articles for you, with very quick delivery times. In the past few months, usage of this new service has increased tremendously. We are glad you like it and are using it, but due to overwhelming number of requests for June (over $2,000 in one month!) we have temporarily suspended the service.

For the next two months while we assess the situation, we ask that you try the ILLiad interlibrary loan service which also send electronic articles to your email account, for free, but takes a couple of days vs minutes.  Email or call the library for assistance if you are not sure how to set up an account.

If you are not finding what you need from your search, please contact the library. The librarians are skilled at getting the best content out of the databases, and we’d love to help you with this. You can call us (607-746-4644), e-mail us  (, or IM us using the “Ask a Librarian!” chat box on the library’s homepage. While Delhi librarians are only available 7:30am-3:30 pm during the summer, you can use the blue Ask Us 24/7 button above the chat box to connect with a librarian from another college any time of the day or night. They will be just as well-equipped to help you with your search.
